A packed dayJuly 8, 2006
It’s late and I am tired. Had a busy Friday in the office working on numerous Direct Mail (DM) pieces and the Ametop competition – looking good though. Got home later than planned after visiting a printers with Simon and Emma – amazing to see all the different machinery and how it all works. A quick turnaround, dropped Kate off and then up to Beverley races. I thought I may got some good photos but it was way too busy to be popping the 70-200mm baby out! Retired early for the customary Waitrose lamb and cheesy mash 😀
Had a good day today (Saturday). We went to South Cave Farmer’s market and bought some great grub. Had a coffee and then came home. Went to the Fairtrade fair at the village hall and then zapped out in Lenny. Dropped the charger off which I had borrowed from Carphone Warehouse – I picked up my replacement K800i from them and fingers crossed, seems to be working ok for now! Saw Nick at the shop briefly and after 16 months, he actually had a ride in Lenny! Amazing! 😉
Late afternoon I cut the lawn, chopped the lane back to a passable level and swept the patio. This was followed by food and watched the excellent Roll Bounce on DVD (if you are not using a postage DVD rental service yet, wake up, smell the coffee and start using one! – we use Amazon).
