I am determined to be more streamlined, more successful and more productive in 2007. I am starting to read David Allen’s excellent book on Getting Things Done and aim to use the ideas in this and a desktop online application (or two) to help, + a Moleskine.
This looks something which may be useful…. a compact calendar for 2007 by David Seah.

Well worth a download….

Lotsawater is one of those cool things which makes you all warm and fuzzy inside (‘cos you own a Mac) (sorry Alan) 😉
It is a very sweet screensaver which emulates water on your desktop – go on, try it!!

I love Google Reader – total continuity on what I have read etc, wherever I am. One HUGE thing missing is search (strange for Google eh!??). However, if you fancy a little bit of work, have a look here and it tells you how do it. Basically you need to set up your own serach engine using Google Coop (damn clever) and you set it up to just search the sites you have in your feeds (so you export the opml file from Google Reader). Then a little script is installed in Firefox (you must have Grease Monkey)… and bingo, search!

I’ve just taken the Superhero test – it’s had 12.5 Million hits so far! You just need to answer some questions! Great fun!
Your results:
You are Spider-Man

You are intelligent, witty, a bit geeky and have great power and responsibility. ![]() |

Great news!! One of my fave film series of all time (along with Star Wars and also Harry Potter) 🙂
I must admit that there are few films that I will go out of the way to see at the cinema. The current home set up means that it is nearly as enjoyable, and when the HD films (whether Blu Ray or HD-DVD) arrive, well that could be the final trip to the cinema… Any thoughts?
