October 27, 2006Just read on Hawk Wings that .Mac mail, as promised, is up and running! Logged on and it looks rather good. Let’s hope it’s as quick and easy as Gmail - my current fave

LIfe is pretty damn fast, blink, and you will miss it
October 20, 2006The immortal line from one Ferris Bueller. B-u-e-l-l-e-r. (Top film!). I have to agree. Work, personal life, family, friends, email, tv, finances, sport, music, RSS feeds, blogging, flickr…. the list goes on. How do we cram it all in!? Well that is the problem. We don’t. Then we get stressed. (I do, hands up, I admit it). So, streamlining your life, making it easier, not stressing about not getting it all done - that’s good. There are however some great sites with tips and hints about how to get your life in shape. 43 folders is one and lifehack is another. I really do recommend signing up to their feeds - they have some superb tips and links to cool stuff. I have starting using some of these and so will let you know about them in the future. It’s all about GTD - getting things done and productivity. GTD is a concept from David Allen, and basically looks at getting tasks recorded somewhere and then ticking those tasks off, even if they are small ones. I need some of this in a big way!
